About AlinDigital -----
What is AlinDigital and what do you offer?
AlinDigital is a full-service digital agency based in Bergen, Norway. We offer web development, UI/UX design, mobile apps, cloud services, cybersecurity and digital marketing. We have a local office in Bergen and a technical team in Bangladesh – giving you Norwegian quality at a competitive price.
Is AlinDigital a registered Norwegian company?
Yes. AlinDigital is registered in the Brønnøysund Register Centre as a private limited company (AS) in accordance with the Limited Liability Companies Act (ASL.) and the Register of Business Enterprises Act. We have a Norwegian organisation number, are registered for VAT and meet all requirements under Norwegian business legislation.

Do you speak Norwegian?
Yes! All customer meetings, contracts, offers and support are delivered in Norwegian (Bokmål). We can also communicate in English if needed. All documentation is in accordance with Norwegian standards.
Project and contract -----
How does a typical project process work?
We follow a structured process:
- 1. Discovery: Free 30-Minute Needs Analysis
- 2. Quotation: Written quotation with fixed price or hourly rate within 3 working days
- 3. Contract: Signed agreement in accordance with Norwegian contract law (the Contracts Act)
- 4. Design & development: Iterative with approvals along the way
- 5. Delivery & training: Finished product with documentation
- 6. Operation & support: Ongoing agreement as needed
What does a contract with AlinDigital contain?
All contracts contain: clear scope/delivery description, milestones and schedule, payment terms, intellectual property rights (the customer owns the source code after full payment), confidentiality clause, GDPR data processing agreement where relevant, and termination terms. We use standard terms based on NS contracts where applicable.
Do you offer NDA (non-disclosure agreement)?
Yes. We are happy to sign the NDA before any assignment interviews. Our standard NDA is prepared according to Norwegian contract law and covers confidentiality throughout the collaboration period plus 3 years after the end of the project.

Payment and VAT -----
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept bank transfer (Norwegian IBAN/SWIFT), Vipps Business and invoices with a 14-day net payment deadline for regular customers. For new customers, the first invoice is typically 30% prepayment.
Are the prices quoted with or without VAT?
All prices on the website are stated excl. VAT (excluding VAT). The VAT rate is 25% in accordance with the Value Added Tax Act (VAT Act). Corporate customers registered in the VAT register normally have a full right to deduct. Private individuals pay full VAT. Invoices always specify amounts excl. VAT, VAT amount and total amount incl. VAT.
What happens in the event of late payment?
In the event of late payment, the Interest on Late Payments Act applies. Interest on overdue payments is calculated from the due date at the applicable rate (set by the Ministry of Finance every six months – typically 9–12% p.a.). We send reminders and debt collection notices in accordance with the Debt Collection Act in the event of non-payment.

GDPR and privacy -----
Is AlinDigital GDPR compliant?
Yes. We follow the Personal Data Act (2018) which implements the EU's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in Norway. This includes: data processing agreements with subcontractors, secure data storage primarily in the EEA, routines for deletion and access, and an appointed data protection officer.
Do you share customer data with third parties?
No, without written consent. Customer data is only shared with subcontractors who are necessary to provide the service, and only under a data processing agreement. We do not transfer personal data to countries outside the EEA without a specific basis (e.g. EU standard terms and conditions).
Support and operations -----
What is the response time to support?
Support time depends on your service-level agreement (SLA): Standard (included): response within 2 business days. Plus: response within 24 hours. Premium: response within 4 hours to critical faults, even on weekends. All support management is done via a ticket system with traceable history.
Who owns the code and design after delivery?
The customer owns all intellectual property rights to the code, design and content specifically developed for the assignment – after full payment has been received. This is regulated by the Copyright Act and the contract. Generic libraries and frameworks retain their respective licenses (MIT, Apache, etc.).
